I was at work this morning...another day as usual. Same routines, same procedures, then...THIS MAN TRIED TO RUN OUT OF THE STORE WITH A 20" LCD TELEVISION!!! Yes you heard right...tried to run out of the front doors, with about ten people standing there waiting for him, with the television stuffed in his jacket. Needless to say, he didn't get away. He was tackled like a man holding a football. He was arrested and nobody was seriously injured. That guy must have been the dumbest criminal of the week.
I can't believe that he would still try to get away with such a thing, even though he knew that management was aware of the situation and that we were waiting for him to try and leave the store with the merchandise.
It was indeed a very interesting (and funny) workday.

He should be nominated for the Darwin awards. The TV is not really a subtle or minute object, is it? Some people do not surprise me at all.
Gee, he was probably very desperate or very dumb. Or both.
Desperate at this time of year ... but really how did he think that he's get away with it????? Only a man ;-0

Caroline- I think you're right...at this time of year a lot of people do a lot of dumb crazy things...mostly men ;D
Leo- I think that I did see a sign across his jacket somewhere...I think it said...STUPID!!
