Life

Life creeps up on you one day and catches you by surprise. No matter how much you plan for your life, it can always take you in several different directions. You imagine how many feelings you'll hurt, or how many people you'll make happy. Then suddenly you're confused. What?! It's an unbearable feeling to have to wonder where you'll be tomorrow. I'll let you know tomorrow how i feel then...

Time...Where Has it Gone?

It's amazing how time flies...It seems like it was just yesterday when I wrote my prior post. Things are moving so quickly. In only two more months, the baby is going to be 1yr. old... already. She stands up by herself and walks while she's holding on, and she crawls so fast. My oldest is 3 going on 30...she thinks that she knows it all, and that no one can tell her anything. That she can do what she wants. Soon she'll be on her way to school. Boy oh boy, I have no babies anymore. It really is true, that if you blink...you miss everything. I don't want to miss anything...I want to always be there.
Aware.
Protecting.
Embracing.
Supporting.

Today is a sad day...I feel quite emotional.

To think... I'll have to let go one day.

Is a mother ever prepared???

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

The snow has fallen once again, this little bit of snow has fallen...enough to make the roads very dangerous, but not enough to keep people home.

That's not very fun at all!

I keep hoping for a snow storm that puts us into a state of emergency. That way they shut everything down, no cars are allowed on the streets, and we get to have plenty of family time together...Watch movies, play board games (so that I can win), play in the snow together...take a break from life as we know it.

So I keep saying...let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Reality

I have been trying to get a promotion at work for some time now...but for some reason or another, it hasn't been possible. I need to work fulltime now, not just to get the promotion, but because we need the extra money.

Many people "say" that they would help if ever you need it; but when it comes to it...suddenly nobody is available, or nobody approves. Not even most of the family. I could count with one hand, and have fingers left over, of all the people that have or will actually sacrifice themselves just to help out, and my hat's off to you.

Thank You!

You know who you are...Some day it'll come back around for you.

Imagination

My three year old has gotten to an age where her imagination is interesting...she has an imaginary friend (superman-i wonder who's fault is that?), she makes her toys talk (i mean she has whole conversations with them), and she comes up with the funniest stories. Here's the story of the day:

She says that the man is in a truck, next to the street that has a door...oh no, wait...the door on the street is his personal elevator now. Then she introduces me to his mother and his friend whom are also riding in the car, sorry truck, with him.

Children are so smart...where do they come up with this stuff? I'm such a proud mother...

Monopoly

So yesterday I find myself playing Monopoly with Leo again. I don't know why I do it...but everytime he asks to play...I do it, I put myself in that situation. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing the game. It's just that after a while Leo doesn't seem to like the game anymore.
I still like to play and when he asks me again, odds are that I will probably play again.

Maybe one day I'll let him win one... :-)

The Beginning

My husband Leo has been telling me for a long time to start my own blog. He tells me it can be about anything I want it to be. So I figure it can be fun, and well, what the heck let's give it a try. Of course, I don't know why I decided to start at 5 o'clock in the morning, like it couldn't wait until later in the day when most sane people are up.

I actually work the graveyard shift but I'm home sick today, so I'm used to being up at this time (plus my 6-month old woke me up to eat). Anyway, maybe I should get back to bed, to get some sleep (for about another hour), before my 3-yr old wakes up.
