Library Madness

I just called the library to renew some movies that we had borrowed...and the lady let me know that the systems were down, and that they could be down for about 2 days. I said, "Oh man, that sucks...but I'll be alright bringing them back on Wednesday, since I called in, right?" She said no...that they would probably charge me the late fees. Even though I called in to renew, since their systems were down I would still get the late fees. How wrong is that?!!! It's their fault...they should be able to take names and account numbers down and forgive those late fees. It wasn't anyone elses fault that their systems were down. Sorry...just going on and on about it.
I'll just return their movies today. I am so disappointed!

So Leo finally got you to blog huh? I think your husband is a sweey gentleman.

I am sorry to agree with the movie rental place. Our actions should not be gauged on the misfortune or problems of others but rather what is expected of us and what our responsibilities are. Just my thought.

Hope to read more of you!

menchie- I tell Leo that libraries are not what they used to be...the only movies you used to find in the library were educational or of real life events, now you can go and find The Grudge and the complete season of Friends. They get the new releases every week. It's kind of cool. At least you don't have to pay to rent them.

paperback writer- Nobody warned me! I am so addicted. Leo told me that I would like it, not that I would be addicted. I love it...thank you for visiting.
