It's amazing how one day you can be running clear across a field like it's nothing, working two shifts for three consecutive days, and staying up all night while you're doing it all...then suddenly you have a bad knee, you're overweight, you have terrible back pains, and you just can't keep up with the world.

This week has been very busy for us at work...since I work in retail. I have gotten out of work, to come home and sleep, to get up and go back to work again...and I am
EXHAUSTED. I can't stay awake throughout the day and my body is constantly aching, nonstop...
WHAT'S GOING ON?!!!... this can't be happening. I am
NOT old.
I've come to the conclusion that I'm working to hard and that maybe I should stop working...
YEAH RIGHT! Then I awoke from my precious dream.
Maybe someday...Hey, there's nothing wrong with dreaming.

I too wish you didn't have to work, it'll happen.
Just wait and see...
We share the same dream Maysha. Maybe someday...
Merry Christmas to you and Leo and the kids!
Is 46 old? Cos that's how I feel most days! And I don't even have to go anywhere to work!
Yesterday, during a film, I got my duvet and pillow out and put them on the sofa, got myself comfy and went to sleep and can't even remember doing it. The others were worried that I'd forget to feed (the intravenous stuff) but I woke up at 10 and got myself sorted. My conclusion is that when the body says sleep, there's only one thing to do: listen to it!
leo- i know that one day you're going to make that happen for us...i love you
menchie- thank you
sharon j- i wish i could take a whole day to myself...get a full body massage...have someone feed me...and then sleep all day. Maybe then I'll catch up on some Z's. That'll never happen with the little ones.
When my kids were young I used to think I'd never again enjoy the luxury of a nap on the sofa, especially as Paul had profound learning difficulties and just blinking gave him enough time to get into serious trouble. But it does happen, and when it does it's wonderful because we appreciate it so much more :-)
