So today I'm at work and I get a call from the babysitter...AND IT'S URGENT!!...so my heart is racing, I start to shake, and suddenly I want to cry.
I get on the phone...and just as I suspected...something was wrong.
THE BABY FELL, MY ONE YEAR OLD, AND HIT HER FACE ON THE COFFEE TABLE, AND CUT HER EYE!!!!
I know, it sounds a bit drastic, but all I could imagine was blood gushing from the side of her face and her eyeball hanging out.
But when I picked her up it was only about a centimeter long...and when I got to the hospital, she didn't even need stiches. They gave her an antibiotic for it...whew!!!
So she's ok and it didn't require an overnight stay at the hospital. That's a good thing.
She was back to normal in no time.
Poor mom almost had a heart attack.

It;s always scary to get calls like that. I never get used to it.
